Fair enough, but if i do then movie that use AC3 or DTS soundtrack do not work (I don't have the UseSpdif option). Now the prelude does not output to digital in speaker mode unless I enable DDL.

This allowed me to hear sound comming from my receiver for gaming and watched movies as well (after configuring the player software to output sound via spdif pass through). Under speaker mode there was a tab that allowed me to enable digital output - and in the Creative audio console under the Spdif I/O there was an option to select either 48khz or 96khz under the digital output sample rate (this is greyed out in the Auzentech Audio console). When I had the X-fi fatality, i had two options to output sound.

The reason I am saying this is that I tried one of the beta drivers and there is no way to use digital output in speaker mode unlike creative labs X-fi without using DDL.

Is the digital output option still greyed out in the audio console under spdif? Also are there any new options in spdif mode playback device. Right now, I do have power dvd 9 which works flawlessly on my system. The funny thing is that the software was working fine couple of days ago on my same system. But it plays if I choose current system config.which selects 2 speakers and stereo sound. The settings I chose are 6 speaker and True theater surround. Power DVD10 says that the media format is currently not supported for mp3.
